It was teams of 1K per player. My ally had 2 vendettas, 2 chimeras, 2 hydras and a colossus.
Opposing us we had a Flyrant, two fexes, two gaunt squads and three zoanthropes in the top left corner of the board, and two small fire warrior squads, a devilfish w/ pathfinders, and a Crisis squad, w/ 6 shield drones. Another Crisis team was held in reserve.
Early on, we did very badly, loosing a bike squad to 'CC Tau', and both Vendettas. The flyrant proceeded to massacre the guard command squad, and my Terminators misshapped twice. By Turn three, Gluck had lost a carnifex, a squad of guants, and a zoanthrope, while Shas'o had lost both fire warrior squads and his pathfinder squad. Both Crisis teams were running rampant, due to excessive armor saves, and very poor rolling on our part. Sadly Glenrazn was called away on family duties, so I took over. I am not feeling positive about the game at this point, loosing badly, and trying to decide whether to leave. Luckily I did not!
Not trying to be arrogant, but the game turned around for us at this point. I proceeded to capture one squad between my terminators, and a bike squad, and tied the other down, after some fantastic shooting, with a guard squad. My captain and a single squad assaulted his hive tyrant, which proved to be a bad decision, as I could not hurt it with my captain or my squad for 4 CC phases. Luckily, his tyrant who had 5 attacks a turn, was unable to put a single wound on my captain. He has now been rechristened (or reemporored) Captain Neo of the White Scars.
Turn five, I have a bike squad on the center objective, and being contested on the far right objective by the devilfish and a single drone. The devilfish was under fire every turn either from a vendetta, or a bike squad with Multi-Melta, and a melta gun, who would charge with krak grenades, and yet somehow only died on Turn 5, from a desperate assault, where once all its weapons had been destroyed, and it was immobilized, it got another immobilized result, and was wrecked.... Their objective was firmly under their control. Shas'o second command squad was massacred by my TH/SS Terminators (I love them!), and the game was going to be a tie. On their turn, Gluck (a very shrewd player) marches a zoanthrope up to my bike squad, holding my objective, and assaults it. Since I have to consolidate into him, I am drawn off the objective. All seems lost, until, by looking at the 3" marker for the objective very closely, I see that one of my bikers is just inside the objective, and therefore claiming it.
We roll the die for Turn 6...A three, the game goes on!
Turn 6 my TH/SS Terminators kill the tyrant, and march off to kill a rampant carnifex, while my bike squad goes to contest their objective, but don't quite make it. My Bikes finally kill the devilfish, and I am holding two objectives to their one. The game is in the bag, except I only have two functioning units, the TH/SS terminators, and the bikes, and Shas'o's command squad is about to break the guard, and capture that objective. All I have left are three bikes at the right objective, a immobilized Chimera, 5 vets, a colossus, two bikes stuck in a permenent combat w/ a zoanthrope, 3x TH/SS terminators, and the bike squad. Somehow, I have pulled back from the brink of defeat to pull out a win.

It was a fantastic game, with very fun oponents. Unfortunatly it took over 6 hours to complete, due to several delays and rule problems. I thuroughly enjoyed it, and love playing bigger games, where the tactics are much more complex. 2000 here I come!
